Chris has shared her knowledge as a dedicated instructor and advocate for birthing families for more than 20 years. She is Certified as a Childbirth Educator, Doula, Breast-feeding Educator and Happiest Baby on the Block instructor.  During those years she has had the privilege of participating in the labors and births of more than 350 babies.  Having taught hospital-based classes for years, Chris felt the need to offer parents more, and decided to start her own birth education organization.  Birth Matters offers classes to empower and enable families to make the best choices for themselves for the labor and delivery of their baby.

Brenda Walters background is in therapeutic massage therapy with a specialty in deep tissue work and a certification in pregnancy massage. She has been a certified massage therapist since 1998 and maintains a private practice in Oklahoma City.  She has been a contract instructor at the Heritage College covering overviews of pregnancy and infant massage and the role of the Doula.

For 20 years Lisa has  been a teacher and advocate for birthing families.  She is Certified as a Childbirth Educator through ICEA and is a Doula trainer through DONA. She supports women and their families to make choices that are best for them through education and doula services.
